Ms. Swayam Siddha Tripathy was born and brought up in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She pursued B. A. LL.B (Hons.) from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, Punjab in the year 2015 and LL.M from Kurukshetra University in the year 2019. She joined the Delhi Judicial Services in the year 2018.

After the initial posting as Civil Judge, East, Karkardooma, she briefly served as Metropolitan Magistrate (NI Act) at South-West, Dwarka. Following this, she served as Metropolitan Magistrate (Mahila Court) at South-west, Dwarka and then as Civil Judge, South, Saket Courts..
